§ 1 Name, registered office, registration and financial year
The association is called “Väternetzwerk OWL”. It is to be registered and will then use the suffix “e. V.”. Its registered office is in Bielefeld; the financial year is the calendar year.

The association is called “Väternetzwerk OWL”. It is to be registered and will then use the suffix “e. V.”. Its registered office is in Bielefeld; the financial year is the calendar year.
The association promotes youth welfare, education and civic engagement in support of charitable purposes. It strengthens the participation, development and well-being of children and young people and the engagement of parents, families and caregivers.
The association acts selflessly. Funds may only be used for its statutory purposes. Members receive no allocations.
Natural persons, legal entities and partnerships with legal capacity may become members. The board decides on applications.
Membership ends by resignation, exclusion, death or dissolution. Resignation requires one month’s notice to year-end in text form.
The association charges membership contributions. Details are governed by the contribution rules.
The bodies are the general meeting and the board.
The board consists of the chair, deputy chair and treasurer. Two board members jointly represent the association.
An ordinary meeting is held annually with three weeks’ notice. In-person, virtual and hybrid meetings are permitted.
The general meeting elects and discharges the board, receives reports and decides fundamental matters.
Two persons who are not board members audit the accounts.
The board may adopt editorial or officially required amendments that do not materially change the purpose.
On dissolution, the assets pass to a tax-privileged body for youth welfare and education.
The statutes enter into force upon adoption by the founding meeting.
